too bad that you just renewed your plat card. They won't prorate annual fee even if you cancel it now, so sorry for you.

Went for a walk today over to TBIT to stretch my legs. Here's the signage now posted outside the Centurion Lounge.

Was there any sign of repair work being done?

LOL. Of course not, as there are absolutely no repairs planned to barely a year old lounge that has never been used.
At least Amex could have come up with a better excuse.

Of course not. How many days has this lounge actually been fully opened? Maybe 10? The new "building repairs" excuse is almost comical.

Has anyone successfully got a goodwill gesture from Amex on this? I've been keeping track of how many times I haven't been able to use this benefit so far.

I'm cursing my horrible luck because I haven't been to LAX in like 5 years and now I'll be heading that way during this "maintenance closure" or whatever it is.

Just read that Alaska Airlines is leaving Priority Pass as of today in the LAX. So whats the points of having this card for any lounge access at LAX? Unless you fly Delta.

To be fair, I feel like the "no PP" sign was probably up more hours than it was down each day there
