Separating MR points from business and personal cards
Is there a way to separate the MR points earned from a personal card vs those earned from a business card? Such as going into separate accounts. It seems they all pool into one account because the cardholder is the same person.
Thanks

It is possible to have separate Membership Rewards accounts for individual cards, but creating a separate online account will not retroactively accomplish this. I expect customer service can do this, but I do not know if they can reallocate the points already in the existing account.

I have long had separate personal and business logins, but only a single Membership Rewards account. This is the norm, there is no necessary connection between online logins, and the number of Membership Rewards accounts.

Not to question, but curious why someone would want them split up?

I believe that is what fbcooper has done, but someone (not the company) is the primary cardholder, and by default the business card account will be attached to the same Membership Rewards account as that individual's personal card accounts. This can be changed, but it seldom happens automatically.
