Experience with crediting of elevated SkyMiles AmEx Referral Bonuses?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone who has received the elevated (10,000 SkyMiles) referral bonus for the Delta SkyMiles Platinum AmEx card could share any data points about how their referral bonuses posted to their AmEx account.
I recently referred 4 people under this offer. I did see 4 additions to my SkyMiles account within a few days, but each of them was for 5,000 SkyMiles, rather than 10,000. I was curious whether it's normal for the elevated bonuses to each post as 2x 5,000 credits to your SkyMiles account or if they posted as 10,000 SkyMile credits. Also, if they did post as 2x 5,000 SkyMile credits, did these both happen at the same time or was there a delay between when the first 5,000 posted and when the extra 5,000 posted?
