Canadian MR to BA Avios with 25% bonus until Nov 12, 2017
I have reviewed the posts and I don't think this has been mentioned so I'll mention it:
"From September 11, 2017 until November 12, 2017, your transfer of 1,000 Membership RewardsŪ points to Avios is equal to 1,250 Avios."

I'm trying to fly YVR > CPT (potentially via LHR on BA) in January / Feb so that might be worthwhile if I transfer a bunch of MR points...
Never made an Avios redemption though and heard their taxes / fees are brutal.

Canadian MR to BA Avios with 25% bonus until Nov 12, 2017
Amex Canada is offering a 25% bonus on points transfer to Avios through Nov. 12. To qualify for the bonus, does the points transfer have to be initiated by Nov. 12, or do the points actually have to reach the BA Executive Club account by Nov. 12? There is a several day lag between requesting the transfer, and receiving the Avios points, which is why I am posing this question.

I did a quick search and did not see that this was posted already. Apologies if this was a duplicated.
For those who are interested AmEx Canada and executive club from British airways are running a promo of 25% bonus whenever you transfer MR points to avios.
Standard rate: 1 MR : 1 Avios.
Bonus rate: 1 MR : 1.25 avios.
e.g.: I have transferred 160k MR points and made 200k avios points.
OFFER IS VALID UNTIL NOVEMBER 12, 2017
Note: when you make the transfer, in the MR website it will still show 1:1 ratio but if you look at the details you'll find they are running a promotion. Then a couple of days later it will show up on your EC website with the added avios.
