If I bought a ticket from Singapore to Prague on Singapore airlines with a layover in Frankfurt and the flight from Prague to Frankfurt is operated by Lufthansa will I get access with my centurion card?

I have a lay over in Munich this weekend, with my departing flight being on a Lufthansa Cityline flight. Can anyone confirm if that qualifies for lounge use?

I hope it is open or that they let us use the main terminal FCL. Or if you are Platinum, then it definitely qualifies to access the business lounge. |
Sorry, I should have clarified. I was wondering if a Platinum grants access to the business lounge when flying a Cityline flight, or if there's a distinction between a Lufthansa flight and a Lufthansa Cityline flight for access purposes.

No difference, both equially count as LH flights.

Have a 3 hour layover in FRA and will be flying out of A gates on LH in economy light (V). 2 parents both have Amex Plat cards, 2 kids do not. Will all 4 of us be able to enter the FRA lounges using Amex Plat? If only the parents will get access, then I have a couple of single visit vouchers from the M&M credit card that I can burn for the kids - then all 4 should be covered, correct?
If it matters, we're arriving to FRA on Condor biz class. I don't think they allow arrival access, but can anyone confirm whether accessing via our arrival tix would be another option so as to save the single visit vouchers? By the way, is it just me or is the Amex site on this is a total disaster? Their links to the lounge details don't load and then if I refresh, they load some other random lounge (!). https://global.americanexpress.com/l...A?locale=en-US |
Condor business has no arrival access to LH lounges. Plats cannot guest anyone, so you have to buy access for the kids or use the vouchers.

Pre Covid we flew through FRA and the lounge dragon said I could enter the Senator, but not my husband, despite having a Supplementary because he didn't have his physical card, only Apple wallet.
Needless to say, this time we fly through MUC he will be carrying his physical card! They do physically swipe them, but he had no ability to use NFC. |
Plats cannot guest anyone, so you have to buy access for the kids or use the vouchers I'll use my vouchers on the way over, but won't have them for the return flight so that's where I'd consider paying for the kids. The return flight is inbound to FRA on LH economy, and then outbound of FRA on Condor economy. So my LH ticket will be "on arrival" or I could show my Condor flight but that's not technically LH group. The rules state "same day departure" but I'm not entirely clear what that means and the below quote from #45 implies arrival should work. Anyone know? Early morning departure on SQ back to US and tried at T1B Non-Schengen and was denied based on not flying LH Group. Had taken LH in the night before and didn't occur to me to try access with the arrival boarding pass though I suspect since not same day, still would have been bounced. https://www.lufthansa.com/us/en/lounge-companions https://www.americanexpress.com/us/c...ns/lufthansa/] |
Acces to the LH lounge is only possible with a boarding pass on a LH flight from FRA that day. With a Condor BP and Plat card you won't get into the lounge.

A data point for some: Was connecting flights in MUC with an EN ticket. Got in the Lufthansa Business Lounge (Gate G28, Schengen) with no issues. Boarding pass was scanned, desk agent look at my Amex card and welcomed me in.

I have a short <2 hour layover through MUC later this year and depending on location I may decide to pop in. Does the lounge need to see the actual physical card or will my Apple Wallet suffice? Trying to limit the amount of cards I carry internationally.
