I just recieved a 40k MR spend bonus on my biz plat. I am trying to decided if I want to use it with my 50% pay with points to get a $400 credit on AS and 20k points back, or if I should send to BA to get 56000 avios.
If I send to AS I won't get the 20k back until after this promo is over.
Any advice? Do we think this promo will be extended or will it return in the next 6 months?

I just got an email from Amex today about this promotion and see that it has been going on since July!
This is a no brainer for me as I've used Avios for intra-Asia flights on CX especially flights from China to/from HK, there is always J/F award seats.
