I've had one ~$25 trip this month and it gave me a credit of $12.56. Waiting to hear back from the customer complaint email address

Your complaint is not clear to me from what you've written. One receives $35 in credit for the month of December.....you say you have taken a ride that's ~ $25 (like $22.44 is approximately $25?) If one subtracts ~ $25 from $35, that leaves ~ $10 in credits remaining (like $12.56 is approximately $10.)
|
How much was the base charge for your trip? How much was your credit card charged?
|
Finally got an answer. $22.44 credit was applied to Nov 30 ride. I thought I had checked but didn't notice that. Odd to apply December credit to a November trip, but whatever I guess. Support could have been a little more responsive and quicker.

Yeah, I got nowhere with them. My point is that there is no reason for them to “adjust” my charge on Dec 1. My entire trip completed on Nov 30. The amount never changed. This “adjustment” never happened before. Everything settled same day. No issues.
But them doing this in this case caused the November credits to expire and pull ahead from December for no reason. They tried seveal nonsensical arguments and excuses then stopped responding when I kept calling them out on it and repeating why they were wrong. Very annoying. |

So they stole your November credit? Chargeback on Amex will get their attention.

Jump to conclusions much? He could have already used the November credit prior to the ride in question.

Many days later, not getting anywhere with email or tweeting @uber_support. This is a lot harder than it should be.
First ride in December (Dec. 9): $9.23, fully charged to credits. Second ride in December (Dec. 11). : $19.20, $9.82 charged to credits and $9.38 posted charge to my credit card. Third ride in December (Dec. 14): entire fare charged to credit card So, I've only gotten $19.05 in credits, instead of the $35 I'm due. Multiple emails to Uber support have yielded nonsensical responses including "your full Amex credits were applied successfully," and "let me tell you about authorization holds." |
UberEATS is now explicitly listed in the Benefit Terms and I have updated the Wikipost with the current language.
"Credit may be applied to all Uber car types and UberEATS orders." |

Yes November credit was used earlier. So we're square.

I have a similar issue but I don't think mine has anything to do with November credits (which were credited properly and were used well before the end of the month).
