The new AMEX Centurion Lounge @ HKG is located at the previous VS lounge, adjacent to United Club. The Centurion Lounge HKG is designed by Legend Interiors, who is also responsible for QA lounges and the recent CX lounges renovation at HKG. The lounge is operated by Plaza Premium Lounge.

CX Lounge catering used to be different at each lounge. The Wing was done by someone, The Cabin was done by Four Seasons or something, The Bridge was someone else again.

But they cut costs and the Cabin is not as good as it used to be. Could well be that they are all handled by PPL now.

The Wing, The Pier and The Cabin were handled by Peninsula until contract expired last year --> transferred to PPL

The Bridge and The Arrival were PPL lounges from the day they opened

G16 was catered by Maxim's group and the new caterer is yet to be known before it reopens.

More like a construction issue.

The construction permit should have been ended. IMHO - the construction is falling behind due to weather.

The lounge not open to the public yet and the barricade is still up out front. I managed to get in and have a quick look around thanks to the Amex VP who was in at the time. The guys crowding around were HK immigration staff who were installing some hardware. One of the Amex guys mentioned that are awaiting some final permits.

It's looking good!! I'm not familiar with this area of the airport. Looks like the footprint of the space is pretty narrow?
