Also check Delta.com: Sometimes better offers might be available there.

The Amex referral page has a 60K offer for the Delta Personal card.

The following offers for up to 70K on personal and business:

There are several 60, 000 miles offers for the personal card with the first year annual fee waived the first year, valid through May 1, 2019. They are listed in this referral thread. These are way better than the current standard public offer of 30,000 miles shown on Delta's website

A post on Reddit suggests that you can find a 50K offer, but with a $100 credit, by doing a dummy booking on Delta.com.
The offer should appear before you have to pay for the flight. [Did [b]not work when I booked a flt today, 3/15/17.]

Jacobsta811 also received $50 credit for $50 e-cert on both gold business and gold personal cards.
muji received $100 credit for $50 eCert on Delta Platinum card
sdsearch received $100 credit for $50 eCert on business Platinum card (see this post).

Mine normally show up within 2 days or so. Sounds like something may have gone wrong for you, though don't be surprised if Amex gives you some boilerplate about "points may take up to 6 weeks" or whatever the terms and conditions say, and refuses to help further until that time has passed.

Also, if some portion of those miles were a sign-up bonus, that may take longer, though you should still have received the "regular" portion of the miles (i.e. if you were due a 60K sign-up bonus and 2,050 regularly-earned miles, I would expect the 2,050 should have arrived).

From what I've heard/read online there are lots of people in similar issues with DL cards. Seems like an IT snafu that will almost certainly sort itself out.

Anyway I applied last night for the 80k DL Plat Biz offer with the 5k MQMs and $100 SC. Instantly approved and for once I actually got the instant card number, which was then declined by my apts rent portal. Sigh. Can't win em all I suppose.

Has anyone had a problem with the 75K sign-on bonus posting? I met the spend during my first month with my federal tax payment. Received the statement today and it didn't show the bonus. Online chat said tax payments don't count. I called in and the agent said it did count but would take 6-8 weeks to post. I was a little leery and he gave me his name and employee ID.

Should I sit patiently? It's not a huge issue to meet the $3K spend but I have other cards that I'd prefer to use and really got this card because I knew I could hit the spend easily with taxes.

I think around this time last year there was a delay in points posting.

In order to post with the statement the spend must be met 7 days before the close of the statement. I would expect it to post next statement.

This is true of cards issued by Chase, but I have not seen this at American Express. However, the terms of the offer tell us what to expect:

Miles will be credited to your account 8-12 weeks after you reach the Threshold Amount.
Even if you, or your friend, have received a bonus more rapidly on a previous occasion, it may happen that this time American Express' process follows the rule as written.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I can wait and hope for the best or spend another $3K :-)
Has anyone else had any issue with tax payments qualifying?

Thank you! In my wife's case the statements have posted for both the Gold and Platinum cards. Both statement show the signup bonus and the points for the actual spend. However, neither have posted to her Delta account. I will wait for 90 days, then call, then file a CFPB complaint. She has had these problems before and this order of events took care of it.

A DP of mine:
Recently applied Delta Reserve card (75k RDM+ 5k MQM) and reached spending requirement in early March. Now after two statements still no sign-up bonus. The regularly earned points and referral points correctly posted, though.

Did you "buffer" the spend, or just walk up to the exact spend amount and not a cent further?

Some people found that some things they thought would count (such as things that Amex gave a credit for) didn't count, and they had to spend more. But if you've waited two months, do you still have to do extra spend if you didn't buffer before?

My signup bonus points posted as I met each spend requirement (two steps), in between statements.

Spend more than the minimum required to earn the bonus.

I'm experiencing the same with my delta Amex Biz. I have done online chat twice - first agent says they can see the offer but they have 6-8 weeks to post miles....second agent says I have no offer. Called and now the agent can see the offer again...but I am 5 days short of the 8 weeks so I have to wait to see if it posts. I'm not holding my breath.
