The Amex referral page has a 60K offer for the Delta Personal card.

A post on Reddit suggests that you can find a 50K offer, but with a $100 credit, by doing a dummy booking on Delta.com.
The offer should appear before you have to pay for the flight. [Did [b]not work when I booked a flt today, 3/15/17.]

Jacobsta811 also received $50 credit for $50 e-cert on both gold business and gold personal cards.
muji received $100 credit for $50 eCert on Delta Platinum card
sdsearch received $100 credit for $50 eCert on business Platinum card (see this post).

What is the recent state of offers for the DL Gold Amex?

My mother has an offer show up on her Delta.com login.

Clicking it opens Amex pages and the offer is good until 9/19/18. No lifetime language for Offer Terms. I see this offer code for the Offer Terms window:
POID GBCC:0001

Anyone apply recently? I'm not sure if my mother has had this card before. She's had some kind of DL Amex cards before though.

I got Amex Delta Business Gold card in November 2017 (so it hasn't been a full one year yet, its been approx 10-11 months).

Today I see an upgrade-to-delta-platinum offer on my account, even though the one year anniversary of my Gold card is next month and it hasn't been a full one year yet (as is typical for upgrade eligibility). I used to have a plat before to missing on new signup bonus is not a concern.

If I accept this offer today (Oct 2018), should I expect a new companion certificate next month (when 1 year of my original gold card is up). Or would it mean I have to wait a full one year from today to get a companion cert? Do we know how this works?

Asked another way - does the upgraded card retain the original card's anniversary date in terms of annual fee and anniversary perks etc? Or is it a full reset?

amex platinum cancelation and companion certificate usage

My husband and I are both platinum Amex cardholders since 2010. We recently got married and decided that we'd cancel his account and add a card on my account for him as to have one annual fee. His account renewal is this November 2018. He had an unused companion ticket from this past year that expired December 31st 2018. We booked a flight for my parents to travel in early December as we were not planning on using his companion ticket and did not want it to go to waste. We called today to cancel the card so we do not get charged the $200 renewal fee next month and the c/s rep said any companion tickets booked with this card will be forfeited and my parents will not be able to complete their travel in December..did she make this up or is this accurate? After searching Delta and Amex websites rules and regulations in regards to companion certificates nothing I can find says they'd actually take back an award ticket after its already booked? If this is true it's pretty infuriating especially since it was a reward ticket for the 2018 year that we paid for..

A few weeks after getting the Amex Rose Gold card, I received an email notification with a pre-approval for two Delta Amex biz cards w/o lifetime language. I've had both of them before, so was pretty intrigued to get it. Each was for 50k rdm - the platinum had 10k mqms as well. Gold was free first year with 2k spend in 3 months for bonus, but no statement credit. Platinum was 195 for first year and 3k spend in 3 months for bonus

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but there's a limited time offer for a Delta Reserve AmEx card with 70,000 miles/10,000 MQM https://online.americanexpress.com/d...etails/#/cshop

Complained that I received the 50k on my Delta Gold but not the 25k for the additional spend. Had been calling for months. CSR gave me a $100 credit and said she would continue to work on getting the miles.

If I have the DL Amex Platinum Personal and apply for the Delta Amex Platinum Business for an email offer I received (10k MQM + 50K miles after 3k spend) will I still receive the bonus if I hold the personal version of the card?

Also, if I complete this in the first statement by December, will this be applied to my 2018 DL account, i.e. if I need 10k MQMs I still have time to get over the hump?

Holding the personal version of a card has no bearing on bonus eligibility for the business version.

DP..........I received an email about 2 months with offers for the DL Gold personal and Bus. I have held both of these cards ( multiple times) in the past few years and I am lol/24.

60K/$1k/ $50 DL credit $95 AF waived .............60K bonus and $50 credit posted for both cards.

My dad received the same offer last year.

Email I received this morning (targeted offer, looks like)

I don't think I've seen 80k before. And this seems like a genuine 80k offer (Google found me references to the usual 70k offer marketed as 80k counting the first spending boost).

Wonder if this means they've taken a hit from $250K DM waiver fallout.

Earn 80,000 bonus miles after you spend $2,000 in eligible purchases on your new Card in the first 3 months of Card Membership. And remember, your miles don’t expire!

Plus, earn a $100 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new Card in the first 3 months.

Hurry, this special offer ends February 20, 2019.
I could be misremembering, but my recollection is that the T&C of AMEX offers used to explicitly exclude you from the bonus "if you have or have previously had this product" or words to those effect. This offer (and others I have received in the last, oh, certainly months, but probably not as much as a full year) no longer include that language. Has anyone actually applied for a card they've held *recently* and gotten the new bonus? Is AMEX moving away from the once-per-lifetime* model?

*where "lifetime" apparently meant ~7 years practically speaking based on other reports

No. Ever since they started the once-per-lifetime policy, it's been there on all public links, and some targeted links, but not there on other targeted links. So a targeted link which doesn't have the liftetime language is "nothing new", although only a subset of targeted links are missing that language.

Meanwhile, after I passed on the targeted 60k/$1k offer that expired Nov 7, this morning I got an emai for a targeted 75k which is 75k for $2k spend in 3 months plus another 25k for another $1k spend in 6 months, expiring in February. Both of these offers had no lifetime language.

That seems pretty weaselly of them, especially if it can be documented that some links have the exclusion and others don't.

I probably wasn't going to go for this anyway, and wouldn't have been motivated to go through the hassle of fighting for 80k pesos in any case, but there are those who might...

In this case, it could be Delta, not Amex, mandating that there beno lifetime language in these targeted offers. If so, who's being weaselly?

I may have misunderstood -- I interpreted what you said to mean that all AMEX products continue to have the once-per-lifetime restriction, even if some of the offers do not state it explicitly. That would be weaselly, whether it's AMEX's doing or if they have it imposed on them by the cobranding partner.

But were you instead saying that, while AMEX has not moved away from the once-per-lifetime model as a general rule, that DL has forced them to remove the restriction for DL-branded cards (for at least some targeted subset of customers)?
