To where? Indonesia???
Within the USA, Amex often (but not always) sends cards second-day UPS, but it may not get sent until a day or so after approval (ie, allow time for them to create the card).
But I don't know if anyone knows in what cases they do or don't send 2nd day UPS. (It might depend on whether the card has an annual fee, I'm not sure.)

Some cards come fast via UPS and some slower by USPS. Just have to wait.

I first got a 50k, $50 statement, $1k offer after my first Delta flight in loooong time, back in February. I passed. Took a second Delta flight in March, and then got the 60k offer emailed right after completing the flight. I bit on that one!
So if you have any upcoming Delta flights, you might get a mailer/email afterwards.

Why people still have this POS card in their wallet is beyond insanity. Delta MASSIVELY devalued their awards AGAIN today!

I'm sure there are a lot of Delta Amex cardholders who are using it for the "wrong" reason, but presumably many on FT are savvier.

I have had the Delta Gold card for 5 months. I signed up for it when I was targeted with 50k signup. It was perfect because I was flying Delta in January and could use the miles. I also used it to get discount entry into SkyClubs so I thought it had decent value to me at the time. I only used it 3 times total and didn't plan on using it much since I have a PRG, Hilton, and new Platinum card. Yesterday I got an email offer for 0% APR for the next 6 months. So now the card has a little more value to me in case I need to make a big purchase. I'll probably cancel the card before the AF is due at the end of the year anyways.
One question I do have though...I have a few flights planned on AA,UA & WN. Might be able to make one of those flights a DL flight. Would I still get a free checked bag if I pay with my Platinum, but present the DL Gold card at check in?

All the airlines devalue at one point or another. I see this kind of post about every airline card there is (at one time or another)!
The grass is not greener over the hill for very long. As the blog you linked pointed out, what Delta just did was to essentially copy what United did a couple years ago (make awards exclusively on partner flights more expensive than awards that include its own metal).
One way to look at it is that if the miles needed for awards increase, you need even more miles, so you need the card even more.

I expect to make at least two personally-paid round-trips per year with a checked bag. As a non-elite, that pays for the fee for the Gold card, and priority boarding is very handy. Everything else is gravy (even if it's crappy gravy).
After making minimums, I only expect to spend on the card for deals and special offers. All my travel charges go onto my Sapphire Reserve.

Good question but I'd suggest you ask it on the delta forum. Anyone on this thread know the answer?

Anyone else thinking of cancelling the Delta Amex card in protest over the changes?
I took both Gold and Biz Platinum out for the bonuses, and normally don't try and get any of the fee back on cards I take out, but this seems like a different case.
I will definitely cancel one. of the two in protest and let them know. Probably both as I can get some fee back from the Biz Plat, and the Gold doesn't have many benefits for low spenders.

No where in the term that says you have to buy the tickets with the card.
