A post on Reddit suggests that you can find a 50K offer, but with a $100 credit, by doing a dummy booking on Delta.com.
The offer should appear before you have to pay for the flight. [Did [b]not work when I booked a flt today, 3/15/17.]

this is not the best offer. it's missing the additional 10k miles for additiona 1k spend within first 6 mo.

I didn't say it was the best offer, it's the highest offer compared to anything in the wiki for cash back. Some people may find it useful information, that's why I posted about it.

Is the fact that the $50 statement credit posted a good sign that the bonus miles will also post? And I still don't see how they can withhold miles earned on spend??
You're not giving all the facts. I think the answer you're getting are assuming leaked offer but 100% "normal" spend for the signup bonus.

Obviously, the answers would be way different if the spend was all at giftcards.com.

Yeah my AMEX bonuses have always posted within days after I cleared the threshold. But I don't play MS games . . . all spend is legit.

Interesting...I received my personal Amex plat Delta card little over a week ago and decided to do the referral for SO today for the same card. Of course, the offer is the same: 70K/$100 cash back for $3000 spend...however, the expiration for the offer is May 16, so a little over a month after the public offer.

You mean you see the 75K miles on your AMEX Feb statement but not in DL account?

If that is the case I would contact DL to find out because AMEX has issues with SPG card (on the regular spend) on Feb statement. SPG failed to receive the points sent to them from AMEX. AMEX confirmed the points were sent but were not acknowledged by SPG which was aware of the issue that affect "some customers". After follow up with SPG social media team and sent supports to the email address they directed us to, the points posted in 2 days.

However if you dont see the 75K on AMEX Feb statement, then it is a different story - it means AMEX never issues the miles.

I had the Delta Gold years ago (doesn't even show up on my Amex account anymore) but I was interested in getting it again. However, it not worth it if I can't get the bonus due to the new lifetime restriction. Has anybody else had it in the past but were able to get the new bonus?

Yes I just got the bonus and got the bonus back in 2015 as well.

For this 2018 bonus, I got a targeted mailer though.

Just because it does not show up on your online profile, does not mean it is not on their system. If I were you I would chat with an Amex agent and ask them if you have ever applied for a DL gold card. If they say no, then it might mean your previous card has fallen off their system.
sdsearch and aftortoriello like this.

Would anyone who used the leaked links and who did not get the credit, spend miles, or 75K bonus miles mentioned on the statement bother to set up an investigation with Amex? Would the RAT team look into this? Wonder if I should just let this go.

Of course demand the miles. I did and they have launched an investigation. I told them I wanted to cancel the card if they didn't give me an end date for the investigation. They promised a call within 7 business days. I will update this next week.
