This may not be the place to ask and it if is I apologize in advance. I was just wondering if the platinum benefits of the regular card, ie. Dell $200 every six months, Saks $100, PayPal $30 a month would also apply to the Charles Schwab, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley versions?

This is a feature of Business Platinum, and does not apply to any of the personal Platinum cards. The co-branded Platinum cards have all of the features of the standard personal Platinum card, plus features added by the co-brand partner. Nothing is removed.

That was a slip adding the Dell in there, sorry. The only co-brand partner feature I am aware of is the Charles Schwab 1.25 instead of 1 for redemption. Are there others that you would consider valuable?

The Morgan Stanley version includes one free Supplementary Platinum card, and there is a way to receive $550 credit if you open other accounts with MS. Read here:

(I see that I added this discussion to a Business Platinum thread. I will move the posts again, sorry for the confusion.)

Quick question about 5X MR points with FHR on prepaid reservation
Hi all,
A couple months ago I booked a stay for later this year on the AMEX FHR website; the resort is eligible for the 5X MR points with a prepaid reservation. I elected to put 50% down and will settle the other 50% when we get there.
Do you receive the 5X MR points only when you pay in full on a prepaid reservation? Or will I receive the points once the entire trip is completed? No additional MR points have shown up in my account and it has been 2 billing cycles.
Thanks very much to anyone who has experience with this scenario.

5x points indicator, something curious.
Booked tickets over the phone with Singapore air.
"Pending" charge did not show 5X points indicator.
Bought upgrade later online that same day.
"Pending" charge for upgrade immediately showed 5X indicator.
Both charges posted, nothing changed.
Expected to have to bring this up to AMEX, but lo and behold 3 days later 5X appeared on the original flight charges.
Any explanation? The "details" of the flights were in both charges when they posted.
Are these manually reviewed? I'm really just curious why it would be recognized as 5X eligible after they clearly had all the info transferred from the merchant already.

@Ghoulish, they are probably subject to a manual review if they exceed a certain dollar amount. Also, phone and online transactions may have different posting rules.
