Thank you for the reminders. I think the Platinum change was necessary inasmuch as Citi and Chase are offering free guests with their Priority Pass memberships.

Quick question ... I have a flight tomorrow from SFO and wanted to spend some last minute time with my friend who is bringing me to the airport. Can I get a gate pass for them and bring them to the lounge, or do they need a ticket to access the AMEX lounge? Otherwise I can just purchase a refundable ticket, but I thought maybe it isn't necessary to do so...
Any info is greatly appreciated!

You need to request it, but the cost is included in the annual fee for the card. The Club at PHX acepts the digital version of the Priority Pass card. I suggest that you call American Express to request activation of the Priority Pass benefit, and ask if they can give you your membership number and PIN in time to activate the digital version before you travel. You will need to install the Priority Pass app on your phone to use the digital card.

If you haven't activated yet, do it NOW, it takes 72 hours for the number to be generated and then you can call back and get your number and hopefully it will generate the in app virtual card
