(Check the Priority Pass website, as AF in the past has been less restrictive in the off-season). With AF and BA restrictions, it appears that Turkish Airlines is the IAD lounge for travelers needing afternoon or evening access with a Priority Pass.

In Canada, there is a difference between the Priority Pass memberships bundled with the personal and business Platinum cards. There is also a substantial difference in the annual fees. The Canadian Business card includes a pay-per-visit membership. (In the USA the business and personal fees and lounge benefits are aligned.)
majik's original question is whether the Servisair/Swissport lounges can be accessed directly by presenting a Platinum card or if the Priority Pass must be used. It appears that this question might be definitively answered here:
https://americanexpress.ca/platinumlounges
....but because I do not have a Canadian account I cannot enter. If this URL is stale the PDF file found by majik may also be stale.

Most of these lounges are Plaza, with the exception of Calgary and Winnipeg. They are very nice, smaller than the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge but very nice and usually have hot food and a reasonable bar. The one drawback is they are usually located in the WestJet area of the airport. Toronto has them in both the Terminal 3 (WestJet) and Terminal 1 (Air Canada). Montreal is also the one major airport that is missing a lounge.

Plaza Premium Lounge WEB site
I very much appreciate the efforts of those who created the Wiki directory.
Having said that, I was not aware of it until I was asked to complete the survey. My source for info on PP lounge locations is the WEB site.

American Express added Priority Pass to USA-issued Platinum cards as their lounge access agreements with CO/UA and AA/US were ending. It was discussed in a thread separate from other lounge access in that context, and the list of USA lounges was created to help us understand the extent to which Priority Pass might replace those.
In the interim Priority Pass has become a standard feature across all major USA card issuers, Priority Pass has greatly improved their own website, added a usable smartphone app, and started opening some of their own lounges. American Express has created an integrated online tool to help identify lounges including Airspace, Centurion, other American Express lounges, Delta, and Priority Pass:
https://www298.americanexpress.com/b...atinum-lounges
My own sense is that the list in Wikipost no longer adds much value, and it should be removed if it isn't kept up to date, because accurate information is now easily available elsewhere, and the Wikipost should instead provide links to the professionally maintained locator tools.

Yes, and the need for a DL same day boarding pass should be emphasized. The AmEx lounge finder says just a same day boarding pass and does not say it needs to be a DL flight, at least when I spot checked the listings for MSP lounges.

I voted yes in the poll, but I think the thread needs to be cleaned out, for example by moving the posts about the renewal and then mistake email.
I'd like to see a similar thread and wiki for lounges outside of the USA.

Priority Pass now claims to have 1000+ lounges. There are discussions on Flyertalk in each of the credit card forums, plus Travel Buzz and probably elsewhere. The credit card forum discussions start out about the benefit, but drift into discussion of the lounges. It would be better if those were centralized, because the lounge experience is the same without regard to how your Priority Pass membership is financed.

FWIW, the Amex Plat UK card allows the PP holder to sign in a guest for free.
Also, you can get a supplementary Platinum card free of charge (subsequent cards cost Ł170).
The downside is that UK Plat holders don't get any kind of airline credit.

Thanks. Next question, wife is an authorized user with Platinum card, so I assumed I'd be able to sign her up for Priority Pass (as AUs get all the same Platinum benefits?) but Priority Pass isn't listed under the benefits on her online account?

Will call tomorrow. Googled and found the link to register, same link I used last month to sign up, but there was a link to this link under my AMEX BENEFITS (https://rewards.americanexpress.com/...umprioritypass)
Keyed in her AMEX User ID and Password, and got a message that her card type doesn't qualify? Will call tomorrow.
