Not s sync offer, but a mailed plat offer (the set of cards they sent every once in a while). Almost threw it away, but they had a 25% off boxed.com coupon. Now, boxed.com has a few gift cards as well ... and the coupon works! So $100 gift card for $91 less 25% coupon less 3.3% cashback less 3x MR points. That's a pretty decent deal IMHO.

I have a Delta offer, $100 back for $500 or more on my SPG Biz card. Might take advantage for my flight to visit the family for Christmas. First class fares seem to be pricing at $515, so this would make it $415 or only $100 more than Y. Totally worth it for Christmas travel!

I do have a Delta Options card. Since a goal of offers is often to get new customers, they may presumed those with Delta cards (or recently canceled Delta cards) were already customers and not worth making offers to. Is there any evidence against this speculation? |
