Thanks.
Mine is with Geico, paid on 09.12, finally posted on 09.14 but with 09.12 date. Credit showed up on 09.17 with 09.16 date. It was over the weekend hence took longer.

Hind sight I should have done the same as to split the payment into 2 because we have 2 offers. Just too habitual to always pay in full for the whole policy.

I was also thinking about our "vacation stop" or Geico called it "storage plan", how the way Geico handled it in this April that over 50% of the premium was immediately refunded to the original form of payment. Hence I may need to save the 2nd offer to use when we resume full coverage.
Then it turned out now Geico is back to the way how it handled it last Oct - a refund check upon reinstate full coverage. This would have made the split payment perfect. Duh!

These offers are usually values points at 1c a piece - so that has a value to them of $125, which means its 25% back if your tab is exactly $500 - so not really earth shattering.

The points are worth more that $0.01 to me. I don't see that it matter how the merchant calculated the value.

Ok and I agree points are worth more to you and to me. I was just saying that amex routinely puts out offers like $50 or 5000 points, etc etc. You can ignore my post if its of no value to you.

If Amex has detailed access to lowes purchases amazon gc might not work. Has this been tried?

I've bought gift cards on previous Lowe's offers and gotten the credit. Of course circumstances can change...

Never been an issue in the past -- bought some Amazon GCs in June with previous offer

Don't think Lowes shares L3 data -- if they started sharing recently then Amex won't care unless you're working on min spend for a bonus

"Excludes purchases shipped outside of the US, e-gift card purchases, corporate gift card purchases, bulk gift card purchases"

Normal gift card purchases have worked on past offers and I don't see any exclusion to suggest that they won't work now.

I ordered a physical card online and received the Amex email immediately. I will report back when the credit posts(or not)

Update- The credit posted without issue, as did one from the department store offer that contained verbiage that GCs would not count, although I also ordered another item so the total charge was not an even amount

Multiple Offers per Retailer

I have Amex Plat and had added two different Amazon offers to the card (one double points, the other 1500 points for a $75 purchase). How does Amex determine which offer to apply, or will both get applied? Any experience?

Of course I got this on none of my cards. Probably because I have 2-3 DL charges on my Amex every month already...

Just noticed an offer on my Amex EDP card: spend $9K get 4.5K bonus MR points, up to 3 times. Anyone else get this? It's not clear if it has to be one $9K transaction, or can be several and you get the bonus for each $9K you charge over the eligible time frame (up to 3 times, or $27K).
