American Express cards in two countries

Hi,

currently holders of Amex GoldCards don't get additional sign-up Membership Rewards points when applying for another Amex card.

Having two addresses in two different countries, I wondered if anyone knows if this rule also applies when signing up for the second card in another country? (My current card is in GBP, the new one would be in EUR).

If the second card is issued in another country your UK bonus history should have no bearing. However, if you are applying for an International Euro Card issued in the UK, it may be relevant - if they even offer bonuses.
