You're right I shouldn't have said never. But I believe the SPG was different in that it was made public that AMEX would match. That was the first and only time I've seen that.

Some years ago there was a matching orgy on a Platinum Card offer. It ended abruptly, and became ugly when someone decided not to honor the promised matches. Ever since Customer Service seems to have lost that authority.

You're in the wrong thread. There's a separate thread for Everyday Preferred bonuses, and if you'd found that thread, you would have that 30k is on the low end, not the high end, of the bonuses for the Everyday Preferred.
So no wonder you got 30k on the first try, because that's the standard bonus on that card!

I used Fire.onion (Browser + Tor) browser. Free.

Pull up the Amex Everycard page. If the 25k offer doesn't show up, go to the Menu and get New Identity and try again. You'll get mainly 10k and 15k offers but depending on your luck, the 25k will show up. I got it after like 10 tries.

Screenshot (took it with another phone as it won't allow me to take screenshot)
Anyway to use this browser on a non Android device? Tried on PC but says not allowed for d/l.

It tends to require a different browser than you've ever used to log into Amex. For people who've used their normal browser to log into Amex, it may require a special browser. For people never have (on that device), a standard browser may work.

And, then, on top of that, it may require multiple tries, or may work on the first try, no matter what browser.

Ie, you can't extrapolate from one experience as to what will or won't work for everyone else.

Same, although it was closer to 25 attempts.

Used the Fire.onion (Browser + Tor) browser on my phone and took 3 tries to get the 25,000 point sign-up bonus. This is perfect timing as I'm closing my Platinum card to avoid the AF and still hold on to my remaining 58k points.

I just received my card yesterday via expedited shipping as I am a Plat member. Linking it to your existing MR account and AMEX account was super easy and can be done online. I suggest registering this card through the internet than through the phone. It does the AMEX card account linking for you. The MR account management requires one extra step, but that's to just allow the new card to redeem on the same MR account.

Still active, I also used tor browser and new identity (ctrl+shift+u) and it took me only 4-ish tries to get the 25k offer!

Thanks thread/OP

So if the app. Page can't detect Amex cookies, it will offer the higher number of points?

And if you apply and get approved, you'll get the points even if they discover you had other Amex cards?

The system will know instantly that you have other cards, because they will recognize your Social Security number. Read this entire Wikipost to better understand which restrictions are enforced literally, and which are not:
