Parent with no verifiable income got approved w 15k CL.

They list my income. I got a FR recently, so am weary for them as well.

Their previous approvals have been for limits around 1k-2.5k.

This 15k CL sounds ridiculously high in comparison. It was for the Delta platinum, but still.

I'm thinking that I should call in and reduce the CL???

Why call them? Just don't spend $15,000 if you can't afford to.

Nah, perhaps calling to reduce a credit limit could be a factor in triggering FR. Might correlate with financial distress in their stats. You never know. Probably best to keep your head down and keep human eyes off your account if you are worried about FR.

Never seen a report of this. Calling to reduce CL shouldn't be an issue.
