Just a quick data point; Just got back from an FHR stay at the Delano and was able to take advantage of early check-in, upgrade offered to high room from basic room type. Was told we weren't able to use breakfast credit on check-in day, only the second day and check-out day. Did some gentle pushback, but didn't get anywhere with the front desk person, so I dropped it. It worked fine when we did use it at Della's, and I was glad it was there! Food was delicious, but wildly overpriced. Two entrees and a single cocktail pushed us over $60 after tip.
$100 credit worked fine (Used it at Rivea. Short version, go for the drinks and the view, but the meal was just ok), and was able to take advantage of late check-out on our last day with no issues.

At checkout ALL the F& B was wiped out except for the tips (of course) including my check-in day breakfast at Della's. Was a little concerned as I almost checked out on the TV but didn't when I didn't see any of the credits applied. All good in the end. This is a great benefit and sorry to see it go away and only being able to take advantage of it once.
BTW, Mlife was offering a super-special $55/day rate at Delano with no credits of course. Almost decided to cancel the FHR reservation but with the credits figured I was about even or maybe a little ahead. Would have definitely used it instead or in conjunction if staying more days.

Does the Bellagio issue a $30 voucher for breakfast that you can use later in the day - for example an evening bite at Snacks? I think that used to be the case, but have not been there recently. TIA

Hi. No, it was not a voucher. They just put the max $60 credit ($30x 2 people) on your account per each night booked. We stayed 3 nights, so they put $180 credit. You had to charge the breakfast to your room and they applied the $180 credit upon checkout. I don't think they track time of day that you actually use the credit, so if the Snacks cafe is on the list, and you grab a snack later in the day, it should be absorbed by the credit (assuming you did not use the full $60 earlier in the day.)

Stayed at the Delano for one night recently. Got in after 1:00 a.m. so didn't really care about the absence of an upgrade. Breakfast was not automatically removed and it took a surprisingly long amount of time to get it cleared. Late checkout offered and used. Lunch/brunch at Fleur - very good use of $100 credit; goes a long way with meals at the bar at lunch.

Encore:
Upgraded to strip view room, $100 spa credit, breakfast credit applied automatically (we ate breakfast at the buffet, jardin, and in-room dining), were given early check-in and 4pm check out. Looking to go back next month but will book through a different since FHR (online booking) is currently a mess.

I have a question regarding the $100 F&B credit at Vegas resorts:
Does the $100 F&B credit cover any gratuity/tips? I stayed at Delano (FHR), and Cosmopolitan (Virtuoso), but I was surprised at checkout that agent told me the F&B credit can not be applied on the gratuity portion of the charge. I mean, I've stayed at many other FHR/Virtuoso participating hotels/resorts, and I was able to apply the F&B credit on the entire charges (price+tax+gratuity). Is this just how it goes in Las Vegas, or is there any justification for complain to FHR/Virtuoso over this?

If you book a tower room at Encore with FHR, do you get both sets of breakfast credits? (will have 3 in the room and tower rooms include breakfast for 2)

Day 1 Bellagio
Room: Booked resort king (lowest type).
Checkin: Checked in around 1:30pm.
Upgrade: Offered upgrade to either 1) fountain view room or 2) junior suite without me even asking.
Checkout: Used 4pm checkout.
Credits: Used 100 at the buffet, and the 60 at harvest. All credits applied correctly.
All in all a wonderful stay.
Day 2 Delano
Room: Book strip view king suite.
Checkin: Checked in around 3:30pm.
Upgrade: Asked for an upgrade and got a corner scenic suite.
Checkout: Used 4pm checkout
Credits: Used 100 at Aureole, but there was a miscommunication (very frustrating) and disputing the amount with Amex at the moment. Used 60 at the breakfast place. Took the staff a long long time to get the credits applied correctly.
Just an Ok stay. Definitely not as good as Bellagio.

Something interesting I just noticed. I booked a one night stay at the Delano for December 26 and the Amex FHR benefit shows a $100 food/beverage credit. I have another one night stay at the Delano for January 1 and the benefit shows a $100 spa credit (no more food/beverage). A couple dummy bookings and it seems like the food/beverage credit is being replaced with spa credit as of January 1, 2019. Just FYI. Thanks.

I was trying to book a FHR reservation for the Encore in January, but it keeps saying I need to call in. Is this a new thing for the Wynn/Encore now? I see Palazzo, Aria, Bellagio and some others but not the Wynn or Encore. Waldorf and Cosmopolitan are also call in only as well.
Any ideas why?

Looking at Bellagio for two nights. So two breakfast credits for two - $60 + $60. Does it track per day or can I use both credits in one day? (have an early morning flight on day of checkout so will just be jumping in taxi very early in the morning).
