This year has been a little slow and we've only done one Vegas trip this year and I need another one to get Mlife gold again. My wife and I are looking at the Aria Sky Suites. I read a bit about them online but can anyone who's stayed there tell me if it's worth the price? Also is Aria like the Delano where if you get in too late to take advantage of the breakfast credit on arrival day, you can order room service and get it taken off the bill?

Well, the price varies widely there. If you're at $500 or below, it's definitely worth it. If you're at $1000 or above, doubtful. Room and views are very nice; the private entrance and elevators make a huge difference; nice to be able to grab a free Coke or coffee from the lobby area. But, you won't get the personalized attention of the MO or 4S or Skylofts and regular Aria rooms aren't all that different so there's a limit to it being worth the money.

I don't know that they allow breakfast credit on arrival day. That seems exclusive to a couple of other places like Delano and maybe Palazzo.

These are factual points and agreed. Mandarin Oriental and Skylofts are very nice!

With that said wife and I go to Vegas many times per year, every year, to hang out for fun and eat (but never gamble, crazy huh?) and we love staying at Aria Sky Suites. Would never stay anywhere else. The limo to/from airport is just so awesome.

I am planning to book 1 room in Bellagio. We will be 4 guests. Is the breakfast upto $60 covered regardless of number of guests if billed to room?
We reach at 6PM - so wondering if the breakfast credits are provided on check-in day?

See Post #930 . Check-in clerk confirmed that the credits can be used both the day of check-in, and check-out. I assume this is still the case, although it's always nice to continuously update this with a recent stay....

I'm trying to look for an FHR room between Aug 5-7. However, when I search on the Amex travel site, I only see 4 hotels show up (Mandarin Oriental, Wynn, Four Season, and Cosmopolitan). Do the hotels only allocate a number of rooms for FHR? or there's a glitch on the Canadian Amex website and I need to call in?

Maybe the latter. I see 9 hotels when looking on the US site.

Wynn starting at $160 is pretty good.

June 15 - Day 2 of a recent stay (first night was Wynn Resort Tower - details posted earlier):
Hotel --> Delano
Early Check-in --> Not required as checked in around 3:30 PM
Late Check-out --> Requested / received 4 PM checkout
Upgrade --> High floor, strip view (booked cheapest room available)
Breakfast Credit - 2x$30 per person; we used it immeidately upon check-in for Room Service, and next day for breakfast at Della's Kitchen
FHR Benefit - used $100 food and beverage credit at Strip Steak

Check-out --> we actually checked out around 12 PM, I checked on the TV at 11:30 AM and our credits hadn't posted, a quick call to front desk fixed that...since we said we were checking out late, gave them benefit of doubt that they just hadn't got to us yet

June 16 - Day 3 of a recent stay:
Hotel --> Delano (booked night before on my Business Platinum on my spouse's card; tonight was on my Personal Platinum)
Early Check-in --> Went down at 11:40, they had a room available but it was standard room as it was too early to have an upgrade available, we didn't care for upgrade this night and took it
Late Check-out --> Not required, checked out at standard 11 AM time due to flight
Upgrade --> None available per earlier message
Breakfast Credit - 2x$30 per person; we used it in afternoon for Room Service, and next day for breakfast at Della's Kitchen
FHR Benefit - used $100 food and beverage credit at Rivea

Check-out --> the automatic check-out system was frozen, so had to go thru reception; they applied all credits before showing me the folio (which was correct)

Did they give you any problems about the back to back stays? I got some pushback from doing this in Hawaii. I'm assuming with the overlapping check-out and check-in times that you just moved your luggage from the old room to the new room without having to store it.
