[January 2015] Amex Platinum 100,000 Sign-Up Bonus Is Back on creditcards.com

Just wanted to let everyone know that Amex is currently offering some great sign-up bonuses through their CardMatch tool site.

I just logged in this morning and found a 100,000 American Express Platinum offer and a 50,000 American Express Premier Rewards Gold Offer, though these are both targeted, so you must first login to CardMatch then scroll through the offers to see what you've been targeted for!

You can also check out my blog post on it for more details.

Anyone get a link yet for those who aren't "targeted"

Didn't show up for me or the wife either. It did showed up for my 23 year old daughter who only has a salary of $47.5k. I doubt she'll qualify though. I though I read that minimum $100k+ for approval.

This was nominally true a decade ago, but even then there was a gaping loophole. Today, anyone can apply.

Nothing on wife's login. Didn't check mine since I have a Platinum card.

Last time this happened the 100k offer link worked for everyone. If someone gets it could you please post it or at least pm it to people who are interested. I'm very interested thanks!

How can this work?

Didn't know this can work. How exactly can/does this work if the approval has someone else name listed in the pre-filled out application form (no code)? I'm interested to learn today.

Last time it didn't pre-fill anything and if I go to one of my "targeted" offers on creditcards.com it doesn't prefill my capitalone application for example.

I got the amex gold 50k but only 60k for amex plat. Our current gold card is under my wife's name and I am an auth user. She didn't receive any gold or plat offer.

Given the above situation, could I sign up for the amex gold and if so, combine those points to our main account?

No love for me either, no AmEx cards displayed at all. Would love to see a link from someone who got it.

Yes. Holding a supplementary card on another's account does not disqualify you from earning a bonus when opening your own account.

No. American Express (USA) has no mechanism for transferring points from one Membership Rewards account to another. You could transfer your points to one of her frequent flyer accounts, if you first request a supplementary card for her on your card account.
