Thank you for the explanation, and yes indeed! But, does it not apply that its age is not fixed and thus doesn't continue to increase the average age of all accounts across the entirety of my report? It still contributes positively, but it'll no longer increase in its positive contribution to the overall average age of accounts.

Product change of MR cards
Hopelessly optimistically, I know, but can you product change from any given Amex MR card to another? And if not, within which subgroups are changes possible? I wouldn’t mind upgrading my EveryDay card to the Platinum.

Alas, American Express does not permit product changes between credit cards (such as Everyday) and charge cards (such as Platinum), nor between personal and business cards.

Can you downgrade Business Rewards Gold to Blue Business Plus?
I tried downgrading the Business Rewards Gold to the Blue Business Plus (to avoid the AF). Representative indicated this was not possible. Has anyone succeeded in doing this? Or is it useless to keep trying?

Hilton Biz downgradable to a no fee Biz card?
AF is coming up and I want to downgrade my Hilton Biz to a no fee Biz card. Possible? Maybe to the Blue Biz Plus?
