Aeroplan No Longer a MR Transfer Partner?

Just checked and Aeroplan is no longer listed as a Membership Rewards Transfer Partner. Is it just a temporary glitch or real?

Where did you see this?
I don't see it happening without a big pushback/announcement

I still see it here on AMEX Canada as of 6 am EST
http://catalogue.membershiprewards.c...orySearch=true

unless it's secretly removed by AMEX USA

At the moment, Aeroplan also missing for me on Amex MR website under the usual transfer points section. Amex Plat FWIW.

Probably a glitch? AE's website still lists both US and Canada AMEX: http://www3.aeroplan.com/earn_miles/more_miles.do

Well, my AF is due mid-Jan. I think we're all done here, Amex. I can't justify $450 a year for this card anymore - not with the erosion of benefits and Chase practically throwing UR at people. About the only way I keep this card is if they throw another retention credit out there like the $500 allowance when AA/US lounges went away.

Weekends are for maintenance. Has anyone tried to make a transfer by phone?

I cannot recall that American Express ever removed a transfer partner without notice. Look back at the threads announcing that CO and WN were leaving. We knew months in advance. Many other partners disappear from the website for a few days, and then reappear.

I agree in theory (and hope so), however it may have come from the other end, especially since AP is owned by a 3rd party

Amex's twitter folks say they still see it on their end, checking it out as a possible glitch.

I still see it on my Amex Canada site as well. Also Amex Canada has Aeroplan branded cards
in their line up so I do not think that they will drop Aeroplan points transfer
