New: My Free FICO Score (USA, Experian)

I did a search and did not see anything about this. When I logged into my account the bright orange "New" tag on the right side of the account screen under the last logged in section caught my eye. Next to it said My Free Fico Score

When I clicked on it, my credit score came up.

The disclaimers:
he FICOŽ Score we provide is the FICOŽ Score 8 based on data from Experian and may be different from other credit scores. FICOŽ Scores and educational content are delivered only to Primary card members who get a monthly statement and have an available score. This information is intended only for the Primary card members own review purposes. American Express and other lenders may use different inputs like a FICOŽ Score, other credit scores and more information in credit decisions. Because it is continuously updated, your FICOŽ Score may not reflect the most current data on your credit report. This benefit may change or end in the future.

There is a link to opt out of this if you do not want it.

This has been around for a while now. It's hit or miss on who gets it.

Took this right from the terms and conditions link on the bottom of my account's FICO page.

"View Your Free FICOŽ Score. Accessing your FICOŽ Score will not affect your credit rating."

They've been rolling this out for a while now. My guess is as of the last week or two a lot more people had it quietly introduced to their account (myself included) based on how many people have been reporting it lately.

I got it. AX Plat and Delta Plat.

Neat.

So now I have FICO Transunion from Discover, Equinox from Citi and Experian from Amex. Perfect.

Mine is there if I select some cards (Blue) but not others (Business Gold). The score it gives me is plausible.

They claim that it is FICO 8. For me, the number I see is a plausible value for that score.

I just checked my Experian faco score vs this one, and they are different.
