I was showing my friend, who has a regular Gold card, how to register the Amex deals at the bottom of her Amex home page (she had never used them).
Turns out the first deal was a pre-approval for the Gold Business Card at 75K..... obviously targeted....

I tried the multiple browser tricks and bounced between 25 and 50k offers. But, then, I logged in to my amex account (data point: Have Biz Preferred, Delta Preferred and SPG already) and, ta da, the 75k offer with 10k to spend was there. Snagged the offer and the card came yesterday while verifying the 75k offer was valid.

Does anyone have experience receiving the BGR sign-up bonus after having upgraded away from it? Here is my scenario:
1/25/13 - Approved for Amex BGR
11/26/13 - Upgraded BGR to Business Platinum
As it has been slightly over one year since I upgraded to Platinum, I believe I would receive the BGR bonus again if I re-applied for it. I am only asking for confirmation out of an abundance of caution in case Amex might be looking at the original card.

My significant other and I were both approved today. Received a notice that I had to call new accounts for both of us. The phone call only lasted a minute or two. They just wanted to verify us first.
Took about 10 tries or so to get the 75k offer to appear.
We were approved on Friday for the US Airways 50k offer as well. 250,000 in miles/points this weekend. Not too bad =)
