FAQ
Q: Where is the lounge?
A: Terminal 3, F concourse, right by Gate F2 (formerly gate 75) and the F-1 security checkpoint (that has PreCheck, sometimes).

Q: Can I visit there if I'm departing from another terminal?
A: Absolutely. Security at SFO will let passengers departing from any concourse at SFO go through security in any concourse, even ones that aren't connected behind security. At the moment, Terminal 3 concourses E and F, and International Terminal concourse G are connected airside to the Centurion lounge. Some other concourses are connected to each other airside, but not to the point that you can walk airside to the Centurion. However, with a PreCheck security lane right next to the entrance to the lounge, it can be quite easy to clear security twice if necessary.

Q: Can I visit if I'm arriving at SFO?
A: It depends. If you're arriving in the aforementioned concourses E, F, or G, then yes, but only if you have a connecting flight. If you're arriving in one of the other concourses, then security at SFO won't let you clear into E, F, or G without a boarding pass departing SFO that day. If you're arriving internationally, again, you'd need a same-day SFO departing boarding pass to clear security.

You should wait until an official opening date is announced. No point going there if it's still closed.

T3 is only connected behind security to the G wing of the international terminal. T2, T1 and A wing require reclearing security.

Speculation is that the lounge will open in the first week of November.

Respectfully, we've address this question several times in the thread.

Taking the chance you're talking about arriving and NOT having an onward connection with an outbound SFO boarding pass, I think it highly unlikely the Contract TSA Agents will allow you to enter T3 from another terminal to access the Centurion Lounge. Having an onward boarding card would work, but as an arriving only passenger, I would say no.

Ah. If that is what jpetekYXMD80 meant to ask then I was too harsh in my reply.

I agree with SFO 1K. I've never tried to access another terminal with an arriving boarding pass, but doubt it would work.

Talked to the Amex folks on the phone yesterday. They're not confirming the opening day nor opening times.

Why not plan a flight departing after 7:30? Then you can reasonably expect some time at the lounge when it does open.

American Express has sent invitations to members of the press to attend a preview event at the SFO Centurion Lounge on Tuesday, November 4th. It's reasonable to expect that it will open soon after that.

cent welcome gift?

Anyone care to guess on the Cent welcome gift?

LAS was a Samsung tablet, then a Faber pen when Plats gained free access

DFW was a Jawbone

SFO I would guess it will be techy?.....e-watch maybe ;-)

Was there still a gift at LGA?

How long did the gifts last?

I believe they last around a week or two....maybe 3

There are (in the past) different gifts depending on your card. I would think SFO is a big deal as will MIA be.....but who knows

After that i can see it stopping.

Sorry I never want to go to LGA so dont know
