Unable to Link Virgin Atlantic Account
I'm trying to transfer Membership Rewards points to a newly created Virgin Atlantic FF account for another member in our household. After successfully creating the VA account, I get the following error message when trying to link it to the MR account...
Partner Program Number entered is invalid.* Do I have to wait a certain period of time after the VA account was created before it can be linked...or is Amex no longer allowing linked accounts to other family members in the same household? |
1. I assume your American Express card account is issued in the USA?
2. Weekends are for system maintenance. I would try again today to link the accounts. You must enter the name and Flying Club account number exactly as show in the Virgin Atlantic system. |
Yes, issued in USA.
I was able to initiate the link today...now it shows as pending. |
