Terminology to describe a prepaid card transaction
I recently received a few prepaid Amex gift cards from work and was browsing the transaction history for my purchases when I came upon some terminology in the purchase descriptions that I was curious if anybody knew the meaning of.
It shows the vendor name and then some presumably internal description (bolded):
BROOKSTONE 203 BROOKSTONE DM BROOKSTONE MERRIMACK 840 - Partial Purchase w/ AVS (AXP)
PAYPAL *7700 EASTPORT 4029357733 840 - Purchase with AVS
NOPA 542929804117422 560 DIVISEDAR SAN FRANCISCO 840 - Purchase With Balance Request
I can take a guess as to what the last one means, but anybody have any additional information?
