AmEx personal Platinum: 75000 welcome bonus points after $7k spending
Is this a good offer? Or should I wait for 100000 welcome bonus promotion some time in the future (even though it's risky since I believe 100K bonus offer is only targeted and never was public)...??

I went for 75K points / $7k spend offer... need a phone call to verify my identity to get approved.... looks like this has become a standard procedure for repeated AmEx card applicants for security issue. So if anyone wants to apply for AmEx card, I'd suggest avoiding applying outside of AmEx new account department's business hour.

AMEX--I Had a spend to do on a upgrade- completed it early -points in MR acct-
now I just received a airline credit from one day before spend started ---how will amex treat the credit --
will they say I did not complete the spend because of a credit and do a reversal of points?
HISTORY:
air ticket - bought March 1st -$1000
10k required spend to start March 2nd
10,200k spent by April 14(WITHOUT THE 1K AIR TICKET )
April 17 credit for spending $1000 one day before spend started
will AMEX say I only spent $9200 during the spending period ?
