No current AMEX Gold/Platinum offers right now?
I am looking to apply for a AMEX Gold PRG card or a Platinum (Gold strongly preferred). I cant find any good deals. Seems like the 50k gold promo just ended a few days ago. How long until something good (or just as good) comes up?
I only have 1 CC now with around a 750 score, so I am looking to get something new.

My partner just got the 100,000 Platinum sign up bonus in the mail. It had an expiration date of 3/20. Took the offer and was instantly approved. So they're out there.

I've seen a lot of people get these targeted 100k offers. Wish one would show up in my mailbox. Going on a trip n May with lots of layovers and lounge access would be clutch.

I took up the 75k Gold Bis offer. Requires 10k spend - put on 10k of flights so should be getting 100k plus soon.

Yes, but American Express uses cookies to judge if you are already a cardholder or have visited the site. To counteract this:
Mercedes Benz Platinum Card:

- Open an Incognito or Private browser window or tab. (Your browser may have another name for this feature which suppresses cookies from previous sessions.)

Further down the same page are links to some current public offers:
Preferred Rewards Gold:

Platinum

...but remember, if you do not open these links in a Private or Incognito window you may see something different.

You can get 50k if you go through the Mercedes co-branded Plat card. Otherwise, your guess is as good as ours.

Correct, but it is largely refundable with minimal effort. Begin your research by reading the first few posts in this thread, then skim one of the airline-specific threads linked in the first post:
