I'm thinking we should set our statements to autopay on the 4th of the month, that way we can charge the cards on the 1st or 2nd and still give it a couple days before the billing cycle closes - in order to get the $200 airline credits 2x (once per calendar year).

Thoughts?

Wow, slickdeals is up to 36 pages.

I jumped in slightly against my better judgement (annual fee reservations).

Kind of expect it to be cancelled.

Instantly got the Plat & Gold just now.
Muito obrigada, jimmicka.

3-5-13 update:
Received 150,000 (plus points generated by purchases) for the two cards after the appropriate spend without necessitating any calls to AmEx.

Can you use 2 browsers to apply for both the Platinum and the Premiere Rewards Gold?

Now THAT would be tempting...

Don't even need two browsers. I applied for both sequentially and got both. I'm still amazed at 150,000 MR - have been staring at the SQ award chart all night.

Wow, I had to jump on this one. I got an immediate approval. I only have 1 Amex card (Blue Cash) that was opened in 2005. I did just get the Chase SW Visa offer last month though so I wasn't sure I'd be approved. I have some spending to do now!

Is the PRG better than the CSP? Just curious before I apply!

Holy cow this couldn't have come at a better time, I was just getting ready to apply for SPG card this is a much better offer and lower spend. Can someone clarify the T & C about transferring MR to SPG?

"Member must have one qualified stay at a participating Starwood property in the preceding 12 months. In order to use the transferred Starpoints Membership Rewards program account must be linked to your Starwood Preferred Guest account."

Does this mean I have to stay at an SPG property before I can use the transferred MR points?
