AMEX MR (USA) to HH 1000:2000 through 1.31.2013

My account is showing this offer. Hotel transfer bonuses are often targeted. The standard rate is 1000:1500.

From December 1, 2012 to January 31, 2013 for every 1,000 Membership Rewards® points you transfer to your Hilton HHonors™ account, you can get 2,000 Hilton HHonors points – that’s 33% more than before. Additional HHonors bonus points will be awarded at the time of transfer.

You might want to check this out, which says you can get an even better transfer ratio (1:2.7) using Virgin as an intermediate program.

There are some reports of Virgin not allowing transfer of miles received through AMEX MR to HH (similar to Hawaiian). So u guys may want to check before transferring AMEX.

Do you have a link or other evidence that can back this up? I have never had the first problem transferring MR>VS>HH I have completed a transfer to HH with no questions asked on the current VS 35% bonus promotion. I have not flown a single flight on VS metal. I only use VS for HH and HA (when the 6000 mile inter-island r/t existed)

When I go to Virgin I see:

Flying Club members can spend their miles for any reward available on the Hilton HHonors reward chart by exchanging Flying Club miles for HHonors points through the HHonors Reward Exchange. Miles can be transferred into Hilton HHonors points at a rate of 1 for 1 (minimum level of 10,000 miles and then in increments of 5,000) by calling the Flying Club helpline. Be sure to have your HHonors account number handy.

Minimum miles required: Convert 10,000 Flying Club miles into Hilton HHonors bonus points.

This a long standing typographical error. See this from the HHonors website:

VIRGIN ATLANTIC AIRWAYS
Exchange 10,000 Flying Club miles for 20,000 HHonors Points. Minimum: 10,000 miles.

Call +44 1293 538 888 or +1-800-365-9500 (toll-free in the United States)

See also threads in the HH and VS forum, such as this one. This is only an example, search for more until you are satisfied:

I'm one of the many that are still waiting for the Delta Promo, but it doesn't look like it is ever going to happen. Have about 400K points ready to do something.... This sounds like a pretty good offer, I'm just afraid as soon as I transfer Delta will come out with a promo. Is there ever a promo with Marriott? Or just Hilton. Thanks.

Mariott is not an Amex partner for point transfers.
