Plat - access to American lounges after merger?
I am considering obtaining a platnium american express card. The biggest benefit for me would be the free access to the airline lounges. Maybe this question has been asked/answered before - so I apologize for my tardiness - my understanding is that currently, the platnium card will get you into Continental, NW and TWA lounges. Once the merger occurs, will Admirals' Clubs be available instead?

When I confirmed TWA flights for June I asked about using the St. Louis lounge during the 2 hour layovers. The TWA agent said that the agreement with American Express for platinum card holders to use their lounges would end May 31st. She said she had not heard anything about American continuing the program after that date.
