75,000 bonus MR posted before hitting minimum spend?

Hi there, longtime lurker here.

Back in late June, I applied for one of the AmEx Business Gold one-day bonus specials of 75,000 MR after spending $10,000 in four months. My third statement just closed today, and all 75,000 bonus MR points have posted (not pending or anything). But I've only spent $9310. I'm not complaining or anything, but I know some folks have had trouble with the MR points bonuses, so I just want to make sure this isn't a sign of something wrong? I still plan on using the card beyond the $10,000 mark just in case, but has this happened to anyone else?

There have been a couple reports of that happening in the past year.

Interesting. Glad to know I'm not the only one though.

This is not at all uncommon. There is speculation that they don't net out returns. I have had a number of spend bonuses post before reaching the actual requirement.

It happened to me as well.

I was probably around $8500-$9000 in spending towards the $10k and all of my 75k bonus points posted. I was going to hit the $10k easily, so in the end it didn't really matter. I didn't have any returns or credits to speak of (maybe $100 worth?) so I don't think that impacted the timing of the 75k.
