[EXPIRED] Gold Delta Amex 70,000 SM & $100 Statement credit

Just an FYI after checking my account today.
I got a $100 credit that posted as 'CR ADJ FOR BILLING INQUIR'.
I already received the $100 credit part of promotion 1 month ago. Also received the mysterious 4000 miles. Has anyone else received this?
From a google search, I found people get this kind of credit posted in their account when they contact Amex for some promotion benefits that haven't posted on their account. I have not contacted them.

But, is it a possibility that this mysterious credit is an IT glitch that will likely be caught and corrected (meaning, deducted from your account and corrected)?
It doesn't appear that anyone has verified where they are coming from.
Hopefully it's an extra X-Mas bonus !^

Anyone who bought Delta miles with the statement $100 credit get the extra $ credit and/or mile bonus "glitch"? I'm guessing most who did the book then cancel trick to get the $100 credit are getting those extra miles/credits for some reason.

It sounds like the Gold DL Amex will be losing the companion ticket benefit next year so this card will be somewhat worthless soon. Better off bumping up to the DL Amex platinum at some point. Probably after you receive your next companion pass.
