I have business platinum, so seems like there are some instances where personal platinum gets $50 gift card statement credit... so I guess the same should work with biz plat too?

And is there a 72-hour wait period after the purchase before you can use it?

Mine posted the same day I purchased them. So 3 days after posting is when I saw the credit (which shows as 2 days after purchase posting).

$100 HA Gift Card reimbursed

$100 was reimbursed on both Plats (Wife and I) and both PRGs. For the Plat ones, I specifically purchased $100 ones in separate transactions, not 2 x $100 in the same transaction. No problems at all!

I specifically went for $100 because there weren't any DP on it yet, or not many at least, and because they have a 4 gift card limit when redeeming for flights.

Purchase 1/2

Reimbursed 1/5.

Crap, I didn't realize they only had a max of 4 GCs when redeeming for flights. I have 12 X $50 GC ($600) and I wanted to redeem for 1 ticket. What options do I have?

I have the Amex Gold Premier Rewards.
Bought a $50 gift card which posted on 1/2 as HAWAIIAN GIFTS HAWAIHONOLULU HI

I haven't been reimbursed yet. At this point, it probably isn't happening, or?

Has anyone had success with purchasing miles instead of a gift card? Or are there other options?

Did you select Hawaiian as your airline before purchasing the gift cards?

Not meant to be an insulting question, just wondering since sometimes we all overlook certain steps in our earnestness.
