Using Amex Membership Reward points on AA?
 

Is it still possible to transfer Amex membership reward points to my American
Airlines miles account? When I access which airlines I can transfer my
points to-- American Airllines is no longer shown.

It is not directly feasible. However you can do the following -

1. AMEX MR -> SPG
2. SPG -> AA

Of course, it leads to significant loss of value. But it is easy and simple.

American Airlines has never participated in Membership Rewards. There are efficient ways to use Membership Rewards for flights opertaed by AA, but transferring through an intermediate program to AAdvantage involves substantial loss of value. Please see this thread:
