If you could transfer MR to SPG at close to 1:1, is it worth it and is a good deal? I know it depend on what you need more or what you value but just want some thoughts

I would transfer all my MR points to SPG without second thought if a 1:1 ratio is offered

At 1:1 it's very good, because it transfer to more airlines, plus a 5k bonus on every 20k transfered

You can do it! Mr to ba is 50% bonus. The ba to spg is 30% i think, i close to 1:1. Think about it guys!

Can you even transfer AVIOS to SPG?

In any case it looks like your math is off. MR->BAEC bonus is currently 1.5 and even if you're correct that BAEC->SPG is possible, the conversion rate you gave (30%) would mean that the base conversion rate for MR->BAEC->SPG would be 2:1 (1.5x.3 = .5 SPG points per MR point). Transfers from SPG->many airlines will get you a 20% bonus (for transfers of 20K) so you could end up with .5*1.2 = .6 airline miles for each MR point, but that's still not so good.

Closed because the premise of the question is a misunderstanding. BAEC Avois cannot be transferred to Starwood Preferred Guest.
