Amex Canada: Cost to buy MR going up

On my most recent statement, I noticed this little tidbit of info:

Need to top up your Membership Rewards points?
By topping up you can redeem for your next reward sooner. Please call 1-888-721-1046. As of March 1, 2012 the cost to buy points will increase from $0.02 per point to $0.03 per point + applicable taxes.

I never even knew that you could buy MR points. I just searched their website and can't find any reference to buying points. Can you tell me where that info is please?

thanks mia. they sure don't make that info easy to find. the hotel and airline websites that i've been to have a "buy points" link that is easily visible.
