The credit meter now (pm of 11/12) shows as used up. Looks like it will be fine. Chalk this up to me being overly paranoid. Thanks!

Did I do something wrong? Details: Amex Gold, B6 selected from primary account as airline before purchase, ticket purchased by authorized user’s card in authorized user’s name.

What is the minimum to trigger the credit? I have $40 left. Will buying a $40+ dollar fare trigger the credit?

Should work. Wiki and past data indicate somewhere around $130-$150 for max reimbursement. I've been reimbursed up to $73

Uhhhhhh did I mess up? I thought I did this right.

11/26: chose JetBlue
12/11: First $123.10 flight
12/11: Second $123.10 flight
12/14: Coincidentally got a notification that my statement closed. Included above charges. No credit. Also, no credit on my meter.

Too soon? Need more time?

12/16 Update -

12/14: Airline credit of $123.10
12/14: Airline credit of $76.90

Purchased B6 tix for $64.10 and $146.10 yesterday. Will watch the Amex Tracker. Q to the experts, i have the option of buying baggage allowance for $60. It is not clear from B6 help what happens if i cancel the tix post reimbursement. Will the baggage fees be added to the travel bank as well?

I tried this several times, they only did it once, the other times they said only ticket spend can go to the travel bank and they refunded everything else. Waiting for my clawback next year.

I am assuming your experience is that the baggage fees mostly get refunded. When that happens does Amex claw back the reimbursement/

yeah the ticket went to travel bank. All other fees were refunded. Assume Amex will clawback in 2021 when I cancel or downgrade the card.

Once you cancel the flight and turn it into points/travel funds, how long do they last for? When do the travel fund points expire?
Thank you
