Since I can cancel at any time due to the covid changes, does it make sense to cancel closer to the travel date? From what I can tell the travel bank funds expire 2 years from issuance so the later I cancel the longer I’ll have the funds in my travel bank? Flights aren’t until end of October.

I've been waiting to cancel a flight in May until closer to flight date so the travel bank credit lasts longer. However, I just got an email from JetBlue that what was a 2pm flight was changed to an 8am departure. If I ask for a cash refund, will AMEX clawback my reimbursement? I booked the flight in February.

When you buy a sub-$99 ticket with JetBlue, does it show flight information connected with the statement? I'm showing the flight into connected to that charge, with no airline fee credit posted. How long did it take for the airline fee credit to be posted? Should I assume that if the credit didn't post along with the charge, that it won't get reimbursed?
