You can definitely use your benefit for multiple transactions.

I can verify this this is still a valid benefit. Last week I used my Amex Plat for a $128.30 purchase and was reimbursed 3 days after transaction poster.

I also used my Amex Gold for a $116.30 purchase and was reimbursed the max $100 credit 2 days after the transaction posted.

Are there any DP around using the AMEX travel credit for JetBlue EMS, after the ticket was purchased, for someone else other than the cardholder/authorized user?

Are you kidding? You're a member since 2015 and you think it's a good idea to keep raising this issue with a representative? ::facepalm::

How do we get cancellation and change fees reimbursed? I called Jetblue, and they said they would deduct 200 bucks (for the fee) and put the balance in the travel bank. Do I,then, call Amex to explain the situation to them? Thanks in advance.

  • Swapped AmEx Gold $100 credit from United to JetBlue on 6/4
  • Purchased one way CLT-BOS on 6/6 for $81.80 total, posted 6/8.
  • Credit for $81.80 showed up 6/10 with a post date of 6/8
Now I just have to use up the remaining $18.20

Just opened up AMEX Gold. I do a couple JFK-BUF flights, usually costing less than $100 one way. Looks like those tickets will get reimbursed according to this thread.

Given the recent problem with gift card reimbursement on Delta and Southwest, are there any recent reports (past June 23, 2019) of low cost Jet Blue flights still being reimbursed? If so, what values?

Airfare less than $100

What if the price of the ticket is less than $100 (ex. FLL-JAX for $83) With the new changes, will the low cost airfare trigger the credit? Thanks!

Taxes and fees related to award bookings still being reimbursed as of July on Biz Platinum cards.

7/14: Made some one-way points bookings. Fees and taxes associated with the award tickets ranged from $5.60 to $85.
7/15: Transactions posted on Amex as document type "passenger ticket".
7/16: Benefits meter changed.
7/17: $200 in credits posted, including a reimbursement for the $85 charge.

Paid pet fee online (in manage booking after making a reservation) and the counter for my Aspire card just dropped by $125. Credit should post in the next day or two.

For More Legroom seats do you recommend doing that online or by phone? Or does not matter?

Thank you! kevneerg, did you purchase EMSs online or over the phone?
I am doing the same, and will report back shortly, as I just purchased 1 EMS online today. Though my plan is to do 3 separate transactions on different dates (I am not in rush - my flight is in 8 months). Also, not sure if it is a well known fact - EMS fees are refundable! If it does not work, and you are not ready to pay cash for them you can cancel your "upgrade".. but would need to call for that (can not cancel online)... was told that by the phone agent.
