Thepointsguy wrote in his blog that the $200 airline credit is based on calendar year so basically if you got the Plat in December 12 you can get a $200 credit and than in January you can get another $200 airline credit...is this true??????? if so it makes the Plat and unbelievable value as its basically free...also, can you use the credit towards the trial elite status with US Airways?

Has anyone tried buying club passes online? I may do that if I don't use the credit at the airport. I just wonder if the charge appears as us airways club or just us airways?

Recently signed up for the USAir Gold Preferred Trial and was reimbursed $200. Took about 3 weeks and no phone call was necessary. Been meaning to call / check but just forgot. So - this was a pleasant surprise....

Today I received the credit for my remaining balance ($155) after purchasing $150 (+$15 shipping) worth of Gift Cards. It took about two weeks to show up.

I paid $125 for an upgrade at online check-in with hopes it would be reimbursed based on at least one person's results. The charge posted but with this in the detail:
