Reminder: you must enroll and select UA as your airline BEFORE making a reimbursable purchase (this includes MPX). Click HERE.
Caution: As of December 2016, it appears that American Express no longer reimburses MPX transactions.
Credits generally appear 3-4 days after making the transaction. No need to worry unless they don't appear after a week.
TravelBank funds can only be used on United and United Express flights. Partner flights are not eligible.

The consensus is that United gift registry contributions will be reimbursed and gift card purchases will not. So

Whether done as on $200 transaction or eight $25 transactions, the result is that one will have $200 in ones TravelBank.

- Set up a gift registry for yourself
- Use the link in your gift registry web page to send an announcement to your email address. This better, faster, and more reliable than searching for your gift registry, especially if you have a common name. Even someone with an unusual surname like mre5765 has could not find his registry after creating it.
- Log out of united.com
- Follow the Make Contribution in your gift registry email
- Contribute using your Amex platinum card

Anyone have any recent information regarding the "Error 126" on MPX app? I tired getting the Amazon GC for $100 but I keep getting the error message and after emailing the address that pops up along with error message, they just tell me to wait. Has anyone gotten the error and then successfully completed the transaction for the Amazon GC at a later date?

Just to verify again that ebay works fine. I bought a $50 one on 1/21 and was reimbursed yesterday. Going to buy another $50 as I have the premier gold card.

Amex Airline Credit
Hello! I booked award travel through United and it includes flights on several partner airlines. If i designate United as my airline through my Amex PRG card, will i get the $100 reimbursement on partner flights or strictly United steel? Additionally, is it possible to get credit for entrance to United Club in Newark (i have a 10hr layover to start the trip
)?

You will be reimbursed if you use the card to purchase a day pass to a United Club. You will not be reimbursed for any transaction processed by another airline. It does not matter who operates the flight(s), everything is determined by the entity which processes the credit card transaction. Remember, you must select UA as your airline before making a reimbursable purchase.
