Any UK Cent got the actual CX Marco Polo card yet? I applied within a couple of days of getting invite but nothing yet. Seems weeks ago but I think it said that there may be a six week delay. Suppose everyone applied at once.

Yesterday HKG airport, I walked to the CX F-class check in counter, and I asked the lady in red, if I can check in here. (forget to mention: I wore a t-shirt and jeans). She replied: Are you travelling first class? No, economy,I said.
She pointed me to the economy check in counter.
She hesitated, and asked: You are a Diamond member or Marco Polo? I replied with Marco Polo, and she pointed me to the business class check in counter, next to the first class.
She felt she was being fooled, and asked where I am going to. Disneyland, I said with a smile. And presented my passport.

Don't know for the ICC card, but in France it was hidden in the Centurion travel guide under Cathay Pacific description. Basically, have to call to get the form and be upgraded to Diamond. I believe as it is not a permanent Diamond status and since you need to re-qualify as per standard CX rules after 1 year, they are not bulk offering it to all the Cent holders. (same as they did 4 years ago with the Kempinski Private Concierge Program)

Just a wide and long black letter in the mail, with a form to fill out to get the CX Diamond, and an overview of the benefits.
Filled out and mailing off tomorrow. Sadly almost all my flying is planned already so I don't know if I will have a chance to use it within the one year stated.

Does anyone know if AMEX Platinum in Canada will get Marco Polo Gold?
Seems to have been offered in other markets where Centurion was given 1 yr of Diamond but I haven't heard anything about any part of this promo extending to Canada until this post.
