What's a better strategy?

Newbie Alert !

I have amex plat, continental PP card. I am going to buy miles from USair. My question to is, which card would you use?
Amex to get the points there or C-PP? The PP card gives you Flex EQMs for each 5K spend, whereas Amex points can be used to transfer anywhere. Which points are worth more?

Thx!

Welcome to Flyertalk.

To begin, I suggest you review the list of airlines to which Membership Rewards points can be transferred:

It's a decent list, but it's not what most people mean by anywhere.
