Auto Insurance Companies that accept AMEX

Hi There,

I am in the Market for Auto & Motorcycle Insurance in Massachusetts. My current Premium is over $6,000 and I want to earn the points for this purchase, I am planning to pay the full year in advance. I was wondering which insurance provider accepts American Express without charging an extra fee.

Thanks in advance..:)

I pay my GEICO premiums once every six months using an Amex.

I know you can pay with Progressive via paypal.com, which takes Amex.

USAA accepts AMEX and has great rates, but you have to be current or former U.S. military to use them. They also give you a certain percentage back every year that they make a profit, which has been every year as far back as I can remember.

Many companies will accept a credit card for the first payment and once you are hooked will force you to pay using alternate means - if you threaten to switch they will often make an exception.

Anybody have experience with State Farm? I know they don't list a credit card option on the form...

State Farm here too. I can only pay by Visa (or MC, but I don't have one). They don't accept Amex.
