New Amex iPhone/Ipod Touch app

Amex just announced a new iphone app, but only for the US market. However they seem to have released it without much testing. I can log in and it shows my US cards and MR points, but all the dollar figures are 0.

I've had an AmEx iPhone app that shows my account balances for many months now.

Sorry, I only got the email today and it sounded like a new service. Hopefully it is just a database glitch I am seeing.

As fiveninezero says, it has been available for many months.

The UK version of this app was launched in November, and works very well.

Thanks Amex for sending me an email today "Introducing the American Express iPhone App"..."for US cards only" when in fact it had been introduced long ago.

The app that has just been announced is a new travel app... not the account access app. Here's the link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ameri...403719287?mt=8 Similar to their Open app that has been available for a while.

Yeah, I got the same email. I was going to smugly say maybe they were just introducing their iPhone app because its new to you (since you said you didn't already have it or know about it), but I just got the exact same email, and I've been using their app ever since it came out.
